As a wildlife conservationist from Sydney, I often prioritize eco-conscious choices when traveling with my family. During our recent trip to France, we had the pleasure of staying at the Auberge de l'Atre, where we enjoyed its family-friendly atmosphere. Upon arrival, M. And Mme. Salamolard greeted us with warmth, making us feel instantly welcome. The room was comfortably spacious and offered a private terrace, perfect for my kids to play. Our little ones appreciated the simple but delicious meals prepared with local ingredients, particularly the cheese selection which sparked their adventurous taste buds. We explored the beautiful surroundings of Burgundy together, but I recommend having a car to truly experience all that l'Yonne has to offer. The peaceful countrysides provided my family with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. While the service had its ups and downs, we left with cherished memories, making it a worthwhile stop for families seeking an authentic experience in a tranquil setting. A la prochaine!
